2004년작
많이 기대하고 영화를 봤다.
영화가 시작하자마자 흐르는 이 노래는
그 기대치를 충족시키고 증폭시켰다.
불륜과 살인 사건을 중심으로 펼쳐진 중반까지는
나름대로 평범하면서도 괜찮은 전개였던것 같다.
숨겨진 복선 찾는 재미도 쏠쏠했고..
그러다 후반부에 접어들면서 뭔가 찝찝한 기분이 들기 시작했고
'과연 이걸 어떻게 결말지으려고?' 하는 생각이 들었다.
언론 등에서 '충격적인 결말'이라는 말을 듣긴 했지만
도저히 내 상상과 상식으로는 결말이 나오지 않는 얘기였다.
그러다 등장한 결말...
여기저기서 실소가 터지기도 하고
짜증을 부리는 사람도 있었다.
상업영화처럼 광고한 예술영화다라고 비꼬는 사람도 있지만
예술영화라 하더라도 참 난해하고 복잡하다.
그만큼 어지럽고 확실한 선이 없다.
엔딩 즈음하여 조금 정리가 되긴 했지만
별로 머리에나 가슴에 남진 않았다.
남기고 싶지도 않았고..
그나마 발견한거라면 이 노래...
원래 재즈곡이 아닌데도 재즈연주가 아주 잘 어울리더라
거기다 이은주의 특색있는 목소리도 나름대로 어울림.
다시 생각해보니 영화 초반의 그 오묘한 분위기는
좀 남아있는듯 하다...
아쉬운 작품.
